How Much Does Dental Marketing Cost in 2026? Real Prices by Service

Dental marketing cost at a glance: 2026 price ranges for websites, hosting, SEO, social media, Google Ads, and Meta ads
Aspire's 2026 price ranges for each service. Google and Meta ad spend is paid on top of the management fee.

Ask five agencies what dental marketing costs, and you will get five versions of “it depends.” It does depend, but not as much as the vagueness suggests. Most of the dental marketing cost for a practice comes down to six line items, and each one has a fairly narrow price range once you know what is included.

This guide lists the ranges we quote at Aspire in 2026, what each price covers, how ad spend works on top of a management fee, and three sample budgets you can hold up against any proposal on your desk. Most dental marketing pricing online hides the numbers behind a sales call. We would rather you walk into that call already knowing them. If you are still deciding which channels to use at all, start with our dental marketing ideas, then come back to price them.

Quick answer: A custom dental website costs $2,000 to $3,000 one time, plus $300 to $500 a month for hosting and management. Dental SEO costs $2,000 to $2,500 a month. Managing Google Ads or Meta ads costs $1,000 to $1,500 a month per platform, with ad spend paid on top. A practice running SEO and Google Ads together should budget about $4,000 to $6,500 a month, including a starting ad budget.

Dental marketing cost at a glance

Here is every service in one place. Prices are monthly unless marked one time, and they are the ranges we quote at Aspire in 2026.

ServiceTypical cost
Dental website design$2,000 to $3,000, one time
Website hosting and management$300 to $500 a month
Dental SEO$2,000 to $2,500 a month
Organic social media posting$500 to $1,000 a month, or included in some SEO plans
Google Ads management$1,000 to $1,500 a month, plus ad spend
Meta ads management (Facebook and Instagram)$1,000 to $1,500 a month, plus ad spend

These are ranges, not a rate card. We quote after a free audit of your market, because the same service can land at either end of its range depending on the four factors below.

Want special pricing for your practice?

What changes the price of dental marketing

Four things move a quote up or down within these ranges.

  • How competitive your market is. A downtown core is not a mid-size suburb. The more practices competing for the same searches, the more work it takes to win the same visibility.
  • How many locations you have. Every location has its own Google Business Profile and needs its own local pages, so each one adds work.
  • Which treatments you want to grow. Implant keywords are among the most competitive in dentistry because the cases are so valuable, so campaigns built around dental implant marketing or Invisalign marketing may need more budget than a general new-patient campaign.
  • Where you are starting from. A practice with a fast website, steady reviews, and a complete Google Business Profile needs less groundwork than one starting from scratch.

Dental website cost: $2,000 to $3,000

A custom dental website costs $2,000 to $3,000 as a one-time project. Where you land in that range depends on the size of the site, the number of pages, and the features you need.

At Aspire, that price is for a custom build, never a cookie-cutter template. It includes:

  • Custom design built for dental patients
  • A mobile-first, fast-loading build
  • An SEO-friendly foundation, with a page for each treatment you offer
  • A layout designed to turn visitors into booked appointments
  • A site built to work with your ads and SEO
  • Security and privacy

The cheapest website is rarely the least expensive one. A site that loads slowly on a phone or hides the booking button costs you patients every month it stays live, which is why conversion matters more than looks. For examples that get this right, see our list of the best dental websites of 2026, or read how we handle dental website design and development.

Dental website hosting and management: $300 to $500 a month

Once the site is live, dental website hosting and ongoing management cost $300 to $500 a month. That covers hosting plus updates, edits, and support when you need a change. We can also train your team to make basic edits, but if you would rather not spend chair time on your website, the management plan handles it.

Dental SEO cost: $2,000 to $2,500 a month

Dental SEO costs $2,000 to $2,500 a month. It is billed monthly because rankings are earned and then defended. Your competitors keep publishing, collecting reviews, and building links whether or not you ranked last month.

Our dental SEO pricing includes:

  • A local keyword strategy for the treatments you want to grow
  • Google Business Profile optimization, so you can compete in the map pack
  • On-page SEO for every treatment page
  • Technical SEO
  • Conversion copywriting that turns a Google click into a booked appointment
  • Local backlink building and citations
  • AI search visibility, so your practice can be cited in Google’s AI Overviews and ChatGPT
  • Transparent monthly reporting

The first month covers a full SEO audit, Google Business Profile optimization, a keyword map, tracking, and a content plan. Most practices see meaningful movement in three to six months, and competitive keywords in larger cities can take six to twelve. That is why we usually pair SEO with Google Ads early on: ads produce patients now, while SEO builds the long-term asset. For the map pack side, read our guide to local SEO for dentists, or see everything in our dental SEO services.

Some of our SEO plans also include organic social media posting, which brings us to the next line item.

Dental social media marketing cost: included, or $500 to $1,000 a month

Organic social media posting is sometimes included in a dental SEO plan. When it is billed as its own service, it costs $500 to $1,000 a month, and the price depends on your plan, including how often we post for you.

Organic posting and paid ads do different jobs. Posting builds trust with patients who are already checking you out, while Meta ads put an offer in front of people who have not found you yet. Before you pay for posting separately, check whether your SEO plan already covers it. For content ideas you can use this week, see our 50 dental social media post ideas, or read about our dental social media marketing.

Google Ads management costs $1,000 to $1,500 a month. That fee pays for the people running your campaigns. The clicks themselves are ad spend, a separate budget paid to Google. Most dental clinics start with $1,000 to $2,500 a month in ad spend, and competitive cities or high-value treatments like implants may need more.

The management fee covers the whole campaign, not just the clicks:

  • Keyword strategy built around dental search intent
  • Search, Performance Max, and call ads, plus Local Services Ads
  • Ad copy written to convert
  • Dedicated landing pages
  • Geo and audience targeting
  • Call and form tracking
  • Optimization that is tracked weekly and adjusted daily
  • Reporting on cost per lead, cost per booked patient, and return on ad spend

What your ad spend buys

WordStream’s 2026 Google Ads benchmarks, based on 13,474 US search campaigns that ran from April 2025 to March 2026, put the average cost per click for dentists and dental services at $8.00 and the average cost per lead at $72.97. At those averages, $1,500 of monthly ad spend buys about 190 clicks and 20 leads. Your market will be higher or lower, so treat these as a sanity check on any forecast you are shown, not a promise.

Google also lets a campaign spend more on busy days and less on quiet ones. For most campaigns, it can spend up to twice your average daily budget on a single day, but it will not charge more than 30.4 times your average daily budget in a month. With a $50 daily budget, some days may reach $100, but the month is capped at $1,520. Google explains the rules in About average daily budgets.

Most clinics see their first leads within the first week of launch, and cost per patient improves over the first 30 to 60 days as the campaigns are optimized. See how we run Google Ads for dentists.

Meta ads cost for dentists: $1,000 to $1,500 a month, plus ad spend

Managing Facebook and Instagram ads costs $1,000 to $1,500 a month, with ad spend paid to Meta on top. Most clinics start with $1,000 to $2,500 a month in ad spend, and some scale to $5,000 to $10,000 or more once they have found ads that work.

The management fee covers:

  • Strategy and offer design
  • Targeting built for dental patients
  • Ad creative and copywriting
  • Ads built to meet Meta’s rules for healthcare advertising
  • Landing pages
  • Retargeting
  • Weekly optimization and testing
  • A weekly report on ad spend, cost per lead, cost per booked patient, and return on ad spend

Meta ads work differently from Google. People scrolling Facebook or Instagram are not searching for a dentist, so the ad has to earn attention with an offer, which is why they suit Invisalign, implants, and whitening. The first few weeks are a learning phase, and booked appointments typically stabilize by weeks four to six. See how we run Facebook and Instagram ads for dentists.

Management fee vs ad spend: what you are paying for

This is where dental marketing quotes are hardest to compare. When a proposal shows one monthly number for Google Ads or Meta ads, check which of these it covers:

  • The management fee pays for strategy, setup, landing pages, creative, tracking, optimization, and reporting. At Aspire, that is $1,000 to $1,500 a month per platform.
  • Ad spend is what Google or Meta charges for clicks and impressions. It is a separate budget from the fee, and it is yours to set.

A single number that blends the two makes it impossible to see how much of your money is actually reaching the ad platform. Ask for them separately on any proposal, including ours. For the full return-on-investment math behind ad spend, see the ROI section of our guide to digital marketing for dentists.

Sample dental marketing budgets

Three sample dental marketing budgets per month, from SEO only to SEO plus Google Ads and Meta ads with ad spend
Three sample monthly budgets, including a starting ad budget. A new website adds $2,000 to $3,000 once.

Here is how the line items add up for three common starting points. Each monthly total includes a starting ad budget wherever ads are part of the plan.

1. Get found: $2,300 to $3,000 a month

Dental SEO ($2,000 to $2,500) plus website hosting and management ($300 to $500). This suits a practice that wants to stop relying on referrals alone and can give SEO the months it needs to build. Add $2,000 to $3,000 once if the website needs rebuilding first.

2. Get found and fill the schedule now: $4,300 to $7,000 a month

Everything in the first plan, plus Google Ads management ($1,000 to $1,500) and a starting Google Ads budget ($1,000 to $2,500). It is the pairing we usually recommend early on, because ads produce patients now while SEO builds the long-term asset.

3. Grow high-value treatments: $6,300 to $11,000 a month

Everything in the second plan, plus Meta ads management ($1,000 to $1,500) and a starting Meta ads budget ($1,000 to $2,500). This is the plan for practices pushing implants, Invisalign, or cosmetic cases, where one accepted case can be worth several thousand dollars. If organic social posting is billed separately, add $500 to $1,000.

These totals leave out the one-time website build unless noted, and every figure is a range. Where you land depends on the factors covered above.

Is dental marketing worth the cost?

Dental marketing ROI comes down to one comparison: what a month of marketing costs against what the new patients it brings are worth. Use your own numbers from your practice management software. As an example, if a new patient is worth $1,500 to your practice in their first year, a plan costing $4,300 to $7,000 a month pays for itself at about three to five new patients a month.

The math gets easier with high-value treatments. A single implant or Invisalign case can cover a month of marketing on its own, which is why those campaigns can justify a bigger ad budget.

Two numbers tell you whether it is working: cost per booked patient, and how many of those patients actually show up. Clicks, impressions, and follower counts are not the answer to “was it worth it?” Ask for reporting that shows bookings, and judge every channel on the same basis.

Dental marketing packages: when bundling makes sense

Dental marketing packages are worth it when the channels in them feed each other. Three combinations that usually make sense:

  • Website plus hosting and management. The team that built the site keeps it updated and ready for new landing pages.
  • SEO plus organic social. Some SEO plans already include posting, so check before you pay for it twice.
  • Google Ads plus Meta ads. One team running both can move budget toward whichever channel books patients at the lowest cost.

A package that does not fit your goal is still a bad deal. Pay for the channels your goal needs, not the ones that make a bundle look bigger.

Questions to ask before you sign

Whoever you hire, these six questions will tell you what a quote actually includes.

  • Is ad spend quoted separately from the management fee?
  • Who owns the ad accounts, the website, and the Google Business Profile?
  • Is there a minimum contract term? At Aspire, SEO, ads, and social media are month-to-month.
  • Will the report show calls, bookings, and cost per booked patient, or only traffic?
  • What happens in the first 30 days, and when should you expect first results?
  • Was the price set before or after anyone looked at your market?
